TTC employee taken to hospital after assault call at Wilson Station

A TTC employee was taken to the hospital after an assault at a subway station on Wednesday evening.

Toronto police say the call came in at 6:30 p.m. about one person armed with a knife at Wilson Station.

“A TTC employee received a cut to the arm and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” a Toronto police spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, the suspect was later arrested.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

The incident resulted in subway trains briefly bypassing Wilson Station. Meanwhile, the station’s lower bus bay was also closed for the investigation.
