Police have released an image of a suspect vehicle wanted in connection with a hit-and-run in Milton last month. '

The collision happened in the intersection of Regional Road 25 and Etheridge Avenue at around 4 p.m. on June 24.

Police say that a motorcycle rider was in the intersection when they were struck by the driver of a grey Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that was headed westbound and completing a left turn.

The driver of the pickup truck failed to stop and subsequently fled the scene at a high rate of speed, police say.

The motorcycle rider, meanwhile, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

In a news release issued on Tuesday, police said that the pickup truck would have sustained damage to the passenger side as a result of the collision.
