Female suspect at-large after woman stabbed in downtown Toronto

A young woman has been taken to the hospital following a stabbing in downtown Toronto on Tuesday evening.

The incident happened in the downtown east area, near Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East.

Toronto police said they were called there just after 8:30 p.m. for reports a woman in her 20s who had been stabbed.

At the scene, officers found a woman with a stab wound. They said she was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Another woman, who is described as being between 25 and 35 years old, standing five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine, and wearing a brown jacket, is outstanding.
