Motorcyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run in North York

Toronto police are searching for a driver after a hit-and-run in North York left a motorcyclist seriously injured on Wednesday night.

Police say a motorcycle and a car collided on Carnforth Road, in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue, shortly after 6:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, police say.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. No description has been released.
