Police believe more victims may be linked to a Scarborough, Ont., man accused of trafficking a Barrie woman into the sex trade.
Officers are asking anyone with information on 25-year-old Vincent Reid to contact them.
Barrie police say the victim and Reid met through social media after he “lured” them through regular online interaction, which lead to the relationship escalating and resulted in the victim allegedly being trafficked for “sexual services.”

Police also claim Reid “exercised control” over the victim for more than two years.
He is accused of exploiting the victim’s substance dependency during their relationship, police alleging he forced her into the sex trade and kept the proceeds.
Barrie police’s Human Trafficking Unit began its investigation in May, following allegations of exploitation, assault, threats and control made against Reid.
He was arrested in Kitchener on Thursday.
Reid now faces charges of trafficking in persons, procuring, material benefit from trafficking in person, material benefit from sexual services and advertising sexual services.
He has also been charged with assault, uttering treats, trafficking cocaine and failure to comply with a release older.
Anyone with information is asked to reach out to Barrie police. Officers have also released a photo of a white Tesla that Reid is known to drive.
