Almost 200 boxes of Legos stolen from Ingersoll store

Ontario Provincial Police have made an arrest in connection to a large Lego theft.

Sometime between late Monday night and Tuesday morning, someone took approximately 200 boxes of Legos from a store on Carnegie Street in Ingersoll.

Police said the sets were being stored so they could be donated.

On Thursday morning, officers carried out a search warrant at a property on Hollingshead Road.

A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Police said they recovered 191 boxes in total.
