Toronto police will be providing an update this morning on the murder of a 31-year-old man who was shot in a vehicle in a Scarborough parking lot in 2022.
According to police, 31-year-old Ding Ping Wang was sitting in a vehicle in a plaza parking lot near Midland and Passmore avenues on November 12, 2022 when he was approached by an unknown person.
The suspect, police said, shot Wang and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Det.-Sgt. Sajeev Nair is expected to provide an update on the case at Toronto police headquarters at 10:30 a.m.
