The investigation into the cause of a boating crash in Muskoka that claimed the lives of two people in their 30s continues Sunday.
Police will not be releasing the identities of the deceased but say they were a woman, 30, and a man, 32, both from Toronto.
The OPP tells CTV News the pair from Toronto were the only two people on the boat.
Following an extensive search, police managed to find the two bodies early Saturday afternoon.
The OPP says on Friday night at 10:40, officers responded to reports of a boat crash on Lake Rosseau, near Backenrig Bay. When crews arrived, they say they found a significantly damaged boat balancing on a rock ledge.
Police have not released the details that led up to the crash.
The OPP is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Bracebridge OPP or Crime Stoppers.
