Provincial police are continuing their appeal for information into an ongoing homicide investigation in Midland.
Shortly before 7 p.m. last Friday, Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of gunshots at an apartment complex on King Street.
It was there that Tryce James, 18, of Etobicoke, was located with gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at hospital.
Police are seeking to identify and speak with the driver of a silver sedan that was parked at Little Lake Park sometime between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday. Police say the driver may have information that could assist the investigation and are urging them to come forward.

Police are also requesting photos, video recordings and dashcam footage from anyone who was in the area during that time and may have captured activity in or around the park.

Repeated attempts from CTV News for an interview or additional context surrounding the shooting have gone unanswered. This is the first update from the OPP in nearly one week.
