Toronto police are searching for a 26-year-old man accused of assaulting one person in the city’s east end on Friday.
Police said they responded to an assault call in the area of Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street East.
It is alleged that two people who know each other got into a verbal altercation and one person was assaulted.
In a news release on Sunday, police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Muhammad Yasin of Toronto.
He is wanted for assault-choking, two counts of assault, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Yasin is described as between five-foot-eight and five-foot-10 with a medium build, short black hair, and short black facial hair.
