7 people taken to hospital following collision involving OPP cruiser in Kawartha Lakes

Seven people are in hospital following a collision involving an Ontario Provincial Police cruiser in Kawartha Lakes on Friday afternoon.

It happened in Fenlon Falls on Highway 35 between Sommerville 3rd Concession and Mason Lane.

Sara Johnston, the chief of Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Services, told CP24 that seven people were transported to a local hospital.

There is no word on the severity of their injuries.

The highway is closed for the investigation.
