Two people are in hospital following a stabbing near Toronto’s Kensington Market late Sunday afternoon.
Initially, it was reported that paramedics took one person to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening following an incident near Augusta Avenue and College Street.
Toronto police said they were called to that area just after 4:30 p.m. after receiving a call for a stabbing. There, officers found a male who had been stabbed.
Investigators said they were advised that two males were fighting.

Police later said that they located a second outstanding male near Augusta Avenue and College Street, who had also been stabbed.
He was transported to the hospital via emergency run by paramedics, they said.
Investigators said the extent of this individual’s injuries is not known at this time.
