The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling several types of cheese products sold in Ontario and Quebec due to generic E. coli contamination.

Officials say the non-pathogenic strain of the bacteria may have found its way into Bianca Murgia brand’s Burrantina Pugliese - Fresh Stretched Cheese with Cream, and Burratina Pugliese al Tartufo - Fresh Stretched Cheese with Cream and Truffles.

Also included in the recall is Longo’s Curato Burrata Soft Fresh Cheese and Sapori Coratini Stracciatella - Fresh Filata with a Heart of Cream.

The federal agency is advising anyone who may have purchased the affected products not to use or serve them.
