Police say they are searching for a male suspect after a victim was sexually assaulted while walking in downtown Toronto on Saturday evening.
According to Toronto police, the incident happened shortly after 6 p.m. in the University Avenue and College Street area.
Investigators say the suspect and the victim were walking past each other on the sidewalk when the man allegedly sexually assaulted the victim.
The suspect then fled the area.
Police said the suspect is approximately 50 to 55 years old, standing between five-foot-four and five-foot-six and has a thin build.
He was described as being clean-shaven and was last seen wearing a dark blue “Fenwick” baseball cap, a grey hooded sweater with “Canada” printed on the front, black jogging pants, black Nike shoes with a green Nike symbol on the inner toe, and a black backpack.
