Vaughan soccer coach charged with sexually assaulting youth student: police

York Regional Police say a 23-year-old soccer coach sexually assaulted one of his students and investigators believe there may be additional victims.

In a news release, police said a youth student was receiving a one-on-one soccer lesson on Aug. 18 from a coach in the area of Milano Avenue and Martin Grove Road, east of Highway 427.

Police said the victim, whose age was not released, was sexually assaulted by the suspect during the lesson.

Toronto resident Zachary Weinstein was taken into custody the next day and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

Investigators said Weinstein runs a private coaching businesses out of the Greater Toronto Area and is known to conduct one-on-one practice near Milano Avenue and Martin Grove Road and Coronation Street and Morning Star Drive.
