A man riding a motorcycle was rushed to the hospital following a collision with the driver of a vehicle in Scarborough on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened in the Morningside neighbourhood, near Neilson Road and Livonia Place, just north of Ellesmere Road.
Toronto police say they were called to that area just after 9:45 a.m. for reports of a motorcycle struck by a vehicle.
They said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
Toronto Paramedic Services said they transported an adult male to a trauma centre with serious injuries. They are saying the collision involved an electronic scooter.
Currently, southbound Neilson Road is closed at Purpledusk Trail.
Police are advising motorists of delays in the area and urging them to use alternate routes.
