Woman struck by e-bike in downtown Toronto suffers serious injuries

A woman has been seriously injured after being struck by an e-bike in downtown Toronto on Tuesday night.

Toronto police say they got a call at 9:21 p.m. for a collision in the area of Trinity Street and Eastern Avenue, south of King Street East.

When emergency crews arrived, they located a woman in her 50s with serious injuries, police say.

She has been taken to the hospital.

Police say the e-bike rider, a man in his 50s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
