A woman in her 30s has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run in the city’s west end.
Toronto police say they got a call shortly after 8:36 p.m. for a woman who had been struck by a vehicle near Lansdowne and Brandon Avenues, north of Dupont Street.
Paramedics tell CP24 that they transported the woman to the hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Police say the vehicle, believed to be small and grey in colour, may have a broken windshield.
There is no word on the vehicle’s last known direction of travel.
