5 people, including 2 kids, in hospital following two-vehicle crash in North York

Paramedics say five people total have been taken to hospital after a vehicle collision in North York.

Five people, including two children, were taken to the hospital following a crash involving two vehicles in North York on Saturday evening.

The collision happened at the intersection of Jane Street and Stong Court, just north of Finch Avenue West.

Toronto police say they were called to that area just after 5:45 p.m. for reports of a collision involving two vehicles. They said all parties involved remained on scene.

Paramedics say they transported two pediatric and an adult patient to a local hospital with minor injuries as well as two adults with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries to a trauma centre.

Two women in their 60s were transported to the hospital via emergency run, say police.

Northbound Jane Street is currently blocked at Stong Court. Motorists should expect traffic delays in that area and consider alternate routes.
