A woman is in hospital, and one person has been arrested following a stabbing in midtown Toronto on Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 4:06 p.m. in the Oakwood Village neighbourhood near Oakwood Avenue and Vaughan Road.
When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said one suspect has been arrested.
It is unclear whether the suspect and the victim knew each other at the time of the incident.
Police say they are currently investigating, and anyone with information is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
