Toronto paramedics say a woman in her 70s was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a car in Scarborough.
It happened near Bridletowne Circle and Finch Avenue East shortly before 6:15 a.m.
Paramedics said the woman was taken to a trauma centre for treatment.
According to police, the driver remained at the scene.
