Driver charged with impaired after hit-and-run in Oakwood Village: Toronto police

One person has been charged following a fail-to-remain crash near Rogers Road and Dufferin Street.

Toronto police say a 21-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences, including impaired driving, after a hit-and-run collision in Oakwood Village.

It happened at around 11:30 p.m. near Dufferin Street and Rogers Road.

Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection and three occupants of one vehicle fled the scene on foot.

Police later confirmed that a man was subsequently arrested and charged with several offences, including impaired operation, dangerous operation, and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.

Police also confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Roads have now reopened in the area.
