Registration for the City of Toronto’s fall programming is set to open this week for a range of activities, including after-school programs, swimming lessons, skating classes, camps and more.
Registration for older adults aged 60 and older opened Monday morning. Registration for other programs will open later this week, depending on the neighbourhood.
For residents in Toronto, East York and Etobicoke, registration opens Tuesday at 7 a.m. Registration for residents in North York and Scarborough opens Wednesday at 7 a.m.
Programs offered range from sports, music and cooking to fitness programs.
“There are plenty of ways to stay active and have fun,” officials said in a statement.
The City of Toronto recommends creating a new account or activating an existing account before registration opens, as spots in popular activities can fill up quickly.

Costs for programming range from free drop-in programs to more than $160 for those hoping to receive lifeguard accreditation. Registered eight- to 12-week courses typically cost between $35 and $95.
CampTO registration is also set to open for those aged four to 16 at the same time.
Free and low-cost programming
Early registration for those looking to register for free and low-cost programs offered by the city will open Wednesday at 7 a.m. at participating community centres across Toronto.
Free programs offered include “free recreation drop-in programs including leisure swimming, skating and more for children, youth and older adults,” according to City of Toronto officials.
The city also offers the Welcome Policy, a subsidy for those hoping to access programs under certain income thresholds depending on family size.
Those accessing free programs will still need to register, officials said.
