Toronto police have released video footage as an investigation into a shooting in Etobicoke continues.
The incident happened on Aug. 5 near Castlebar Road and Uno Drive, which is west of Royal York Road and north of The Queensway.
Toronto police say they were called to that area just before 8:10 p.m.
In a 38-second clip, a man is seen watering the front lawn of a home when a grey, four-door SUV with its front passenger door open pulls up to a dead end.
The back passenger door is then flung open as a male appears to exit the vehicle and runs out down the street. He is seen holding what appears to be a handgun.
The driver of the vehicle then reverses back down the street as the clip cuts off.
In a news release, investigators said a suspect from one of the vehicles exited the rear passenger side armed with a firearm and ran toward another vehicle and discharged the weapon.
He then got back into his vehicle, as both vehicles fled the area at a high rate of speed, police said.
The suspect is described as having a medium build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, grey pants, and white shoes.
The Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force wants to identify him.
