Vaughan hospital employee charged after allegedly sexually assaulting co-worker

A suspect has been charged with sexual assault after a worker at a Vaughan hospital was allegedly “touched for a sexual purpose,” say police.

The incident happened on Dec. 21, 2024 at an unnamed facility.

York Regional Police (YRP) said a male contacted them on Dec. 27 to report that he had been sexually assaulted while at work by another employee.

The suspect was subsequently charged with sexual assault.

Investigators say they believe there may be other victims and are urging them to come forward as soon as possible.
