Security footage has surfaced showing the moment a 47-year-old man was fatally gunned down on a residential street in Richmond Hill on Thursday night.
In the video provided to CTV News by area residents, five gunshots are heard seconds before a man is seen being chased on the sidewalk on Parker Avenue by a person in dark clothing who appears to have a weapon drawn.

CTV News has chosen to freeze the video at this point.
As the man runs across the street, a gunshot is heard, and he stumbles down to the ground.
The man tries to get up but the person in dark clothing catches up, hovering over him as three more gunshots ring out.
A grey-coloured SUV arrives and the person in dark clothing hops into the vehicle, which then drives away.
Another man in a white shirt comes running down and checks on the victim lying on the ground. He is heard screaming out the victim’s name.

York Regional Police said a call came in around 6:45 p.m. for a shooting in the area of Parker Avenue and Poplar Drive, north of King Road, and when officers arrived, they found 47-year-old Issam Saad lying on the roadway with gunshot wounds.
Despite life-saving measures, Saad was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and are looking for two suspects. They do not have descriptions of the suspects at this time.
The motive is unknown.
A Honda Pilot that was found abandoned—engulfed in flames—in the area of King Road and Dufferin Street shortly after the shooting is believed to be linked to the incident, police said.

A resident in the area, who CTV News has agreed to identify as Arlo, said he was finishing dinner when he heard the shots outside his home.
“We thought they were fireworks at first and then we realized they weren’t,” he said.
Arlo recounted running out with his dad and brother to give the victim CPR.
“I worked on him for a little bit, but he was shot point blank,” he said.
He noted the man in the white shirt was the victim’s brother.
“He was freaking out so we were trying to calm his brother down,” Arlo said.
Homicide investigators are asking anyone with information, including security video from the area, to contact them at 1-866-876-5423 ext. 7865 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS.
