A man was rushed to the hospital following a crash involving a vehicle and a scooter in Markham late Sunday morning.
York Regional Police say they were called to the area of Kennedy Road and Angus Glen Boulevard at around 11:08 a.m. for reports of a collision.
They initially said an adult male riding a scooter was taken to hospital in serious, life-threatening condition. Police have since indicated that his condition is non-life-threatening.
Kennedy Road was closed in both directions between The Fairways and Bur Oak Avenue for the investigation, and drivers were asked to use alternate routes.
