No injuries have been reported and there is no threat to public safety after shots were fired between the occupants of two vehicles in King Township on Sunday morning, police say.
York Regional Police say they were called to the area of 15th Sideroad and Dufferin Street just after 7 a.m. for reports of gunfire between two vehicles.
Police say one of the suspects fled the scene on foot.
A large police presence remains in the area.
A road in that area was closed as polcie investigated, but has since reopened.
