One suspect has been arrested and two more are wanted in connection with an armed robbery at an entertainment lounge in Vaughan last month.
York Regional Police said three suspects, one armed with a handgun and the other two with knives, attended the lounge near Langstaff and Weston roads on Oct. 22 and allegedly demanded cash.
Shortly after, the suspects fled with a phone, computer and a quantity of cash, police said.
The robbery prompted police to launch an investigation dubbed “Project Calder.” It resulted in a suspect being arrested, police said.
Officers also seized a replica firearm during a search of a residence in Toronto.
The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Niccoy St. John, has been charged with robbery with a firearm and disguise with intent.
Police said they are still looking for two Black male suspects with thin builds. One was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a black face mask and blue sneakers.
The other had on a black zip hoodie, black pants, a black face mask and white and grey sneakers.
