A math tutor from Richmond Hill has been charged in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
York Regional Police say a victim, who is under the age of 16, came forward on Nov. 12 to report that their math tutor “touched them for a sexual purpose” during their lessons.
The alleged assaults happened between Sept. 2022 and Oct. 2025, police say.
Kevin Ng, 63, of Richmond Hill, was arrested on Nov. 13. He is charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and encourage others who may have been affected to come forward.
Police are reminded that anyone impacted has no statute of limitations for sexual offences.
