Police are on the hunt for four suspects accused of threatening a cannabis store employee with a sword during a robbery on Friday night.
Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit say the incident happened around 11 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the suspects dressed in dark clothing and entered the store near Bayview Avenue and Hollidge Boulevard in Aurora. They reportedly brandished a sword and threatened the employee before stealing a quantity of cannabis products.
Police ask anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or has dashcam or surveillance footage from the area to come forward. Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact authorities.
