York Regional Police are searching for suspects after a home invasion in Richmond Hill on Thursday night.
According to police, multiple suspects were involved in a home invasion near Bayview and 16th avenues shortly before 9 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
Police said they believe the suspects fled on foot and many officers were deployed, including members of the K9 unit, to try to track down the perpetrators.
Police said frontline officers, along with members of the air support unit, searched the area “extensively” but were unable to locate the suspects.
Uniformed and plainclothes police officers were going door-to-door on Thursday night canvassing for witnesses and security camera footage.
