York police are searching for a male suspect after an armed robbery at a Richmond Hill business over the weekend.
Police said at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Feb. 28, officers responded to reports of a robbery in the area of Forestwood Street and Major Mackenzie Drive West.
A masked, male suspect allegedly entered the store, brandished a firearm, and stole an undisclosed quantity of cash. He fled before police arrived.
No physical injuries were reported.
Investigators describe the suspect has having a dark complexion, standing between six-foot-three to six-foot-five, and between the ages of 28 and 30.
He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a red jacket, and black shoes with white soles. He was reportedly carrying a black firearm with silver trim.
