The driver of an SUV is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision involving a transit bus in Vaughan Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened on Apple Mill Road, near Jane Street, just after 12:30 p.m.
The cause of the collision is unknown. No other injuries have been reported.
York Regional Police (YRP) have shut down Apple Mill between Millway Avenue and Jane as they investigate.
The road is expected to be closed “for an extended period,” police said in a post on X. Motorists, meanwhile, are being advised to find alternate routes.
