A father and his two young children were injured, two of them critically, in a head-on collision in Markham on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened at around 4:45 p.m. in the area of Major Mackenzie Drive and McCowan Road.
In an update to CP24 Saturday morning, York Regional Police say a 42-year-old man and one of his children remain in critical condition following the collision.
A second child, also under the age of 10, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the crash involved two vehicles in a head-on collision, adding that no one in the other vehicle was injured.
The circumstances that led to the collision remain under investigation.
