York Regional Police are investigating after shots were fired at a home in Newmarket on Sunday night.
Police say a call came in shortly after 8 p.m. for a shooting in the area of Bathurst Street and Davis Drive.
When officers arrived, they learned that a house was targeted, police say.
No injuries were reported.
Police say the suspects fled the area, and they do not have descriptions at this time.
Area residents are being advised that police will have an increased presence as they canvass for witnesses and video surveillance.
