A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision in Markham.
York Regional Police say a motorcycle and a truck collided in the area of Woodbine Avenue and John Street shortly after 6:30 p.m.
The rider, an adult male, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police say.
The circumstances that led to the collision are not immediately known.
Police say the roads in the area are closed for the investigation.
