Aurora man arrested for ATM break-in

Guelph Police have arrested an Aurora man accused of breaking into an ATM machine.

The incident happened on April 24 at a business near Speedvale Avenue East.

According to police, the owner arrived to find the front door smashed and Bitcoin ATM damaged.

Investigators determined the suspect purchased cryptocurrency, then returning overnight to steal the cash he had deposited.

The 51-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with break and enter and possession of break-in instruments.
