Police are searching for three suspects after a smash-and-grab robbery at a store in Richmond Hill over the weekend.

York Regional Police said they responded to a commercial robbery in the area of High Tech and Red Maple roads at around 3:20 p.m. on Sunday.

When officers arrived at the scene, police said they learned two suspects allegedly armed with at least one metal object walked into the store and started smashing glass cases.

They allegedly stole an undisclosed quantity of electronics before fleeing in a black pick-up truck that was driven by a third suspect.

Police say the pick-up, described as a black Ford 250, was reported stolen from Toronto and was last seen travelling southbound on Highway 404.

There were no reported injuries from the incident.

In a release, York police say they are looking for two male suspects between 30 to 40 years old and are roughly five-foot-six.
