A stretch of Jane Street in Vaughan is almost fully reopen after being shut down in both directions following a vehicle fire late Monday afternoon.
Currently, two southbound lanes at Avro Road remain closed.
The incident happened between Norwood Avenue and Avro Road.
York Regional Police said they were called to that area at 5:30 p.m. for a vehicle fire.
Fire crews also attended the scene.
Police have asked drivers to avoid the area and are advising them to expect delays.
