Many students are lining up for hours to get photo identification for the new discounted student pass on Monday.
People are lining up outside Sherbourne subway station for photo ID that allows them to take advantage of a reduced price Metropass. The photo costs $5.25, and allows students to buy the monthly pass for $99 instead $121 for the monthly pass.
However, there are reports that the wait is three hours long with only three workers processing all the photos.
The TTC will be will be sending crews out to schools to take the photos, but some students want to get a jump start on the discount.
