Outrage on the subway today as a group of TTC riders watched a man allegedly drag a dog along a subway platform.
Witnesses say they a man pull a 65-pound German Shepherd off a bus and dragged down the stairs to the platform at Coxwell Station.
Police were called, and the man was arrested. The dog was rescued.
Police say the man under arrest was hired to walk the 15-year-old German Shepherd.
He told officers he had just gone for a long walk and that the pooch needed a tug because he was too tired to walk down the stairs.
He is facing animal cruelty charges.
