GUELPH - Provincial police say a Paris, Ont., man is facing charges after a pickup truck was clocked at nearly three times the speed limit.
Const. Steven Hunter was conducting radar enforcement on the 4th line of Guelph-Eramosa Township south of Wellington Road 124 this morning.
Police say Hunter clocked the truck on radar at 136 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
Douglas William Hitchens, 47, is charged with racing a motor vehicle and failing to surrender his licence.
Hitchens is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on July 20.
