A man was killed following a serious crash in the city's east end Thursday evening.
The collision, between a Toronto Transit Commission bus and another vehicle, happened at Morningside and Old Finch avenues shortly before 7 p.m., a representative with Toronto Emergency Medical Services told CP24.
The bus was going west on Old Finch Avenue when it attempted to make a right onto the northbound lane of Morningside Avenue. That's when it was struck by a vehicle on its left side.
The male driver of the vehicle that struck the bus was without vital signs at the scene. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Toronto police closed the scene for hours as officers with Traffic Services investigated the scene for clues.
The roads have since reopened.
