Toronto's Ford brothers have each shed a few more pounds in their Cut the Waist weight-loss crusade.

Mayor Rob Ford and Coun. Doug Ford are trying to lose weight to promote healthy living and raise cash for local charities as part of their six-month campaign.

After stalling last week, Rob Ford weighed in Tuesday at 308 pounds, down two pounds from last week's total, while his brother Doug Ford came in at 252 pounds, a drop of three pounds from last week.

Last week, the mayor weighed in at 310 pounds, the same total from the week before.

As of Tuesday, Rob Ford has shed 22 pounds since the campaign began Jan. 16. He's almost halfway to his goal of shedding 50 pounds by the campaign's end in June. Doug Ford began the campaign at 275 pounds.

So far, people or groups have pledged to donate almost $400 for every pound the Fords shed during the campaign.
