It's time to speak up on how City Hall spends your money, as the City hosts budget forums starting Wednesday night.

The city's budget committee is hosting the first of four public forums tonight to listen to input on Toronto's proposed financial blueprint.

Tonight's forums are being held at The East York and North York Civic Centres at 6 p.m. Two more discussions will be held on Thursday night.

Mayor Rob Ford released the budget earlier this month, and it includes no property tax hike, but several user fee increases.

Water rates will go up by nine per cent as was previously announced in order to deal with the city's aging infrastructure. Garbage pickup rates will increase by three per cent.
