ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - St. John's, N.L., will host the Juno Awards in April 2010.
Melanie Berry, president of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, says she's thrilled the event is going to the city because of its rich musical tradition.
The ceremony will be held April 18 next year.
The Junos were last hosted by Newfoundland and Labrador's capital city in 2002.
This year's Junos will be held March 29 in Vancouver.
