HAMILTON, Ont. -- Homicide investigators are leading the search for a Hamilton man who disappeared this week after going for a test drive with two men.

Police say Timothy Bosma, 32, was trying to sell his Dodge pickup truck online and went on a drive Monday night with two men he said were from the Toronto area.

Investigators say they were contacted by his spouse that night when he failed to return.

Hamilton police Staff Sgt. Matt Kavanagh says it's the force's policy to bring in the homicide squad when a missing person case is deemed "suspicious."

Police say they are seeking the two men who went on the drive with Bosma.

One is six-foot-one to six-foot-two, 170 to 180 pounds, in his mid-20s and has short brown hair. The other is five-foot-nine to five-foot-10 with a small to medium build and dark red hair. He is in his early 20s. Both are white.

Kavanagh says officers are also looking for the pickup truck.
