TORONTO - One of the first people arrested in the G20 security sweep is expected in court this afternoon.

Among other things, Byron Sonne, a 37-year-old Internet security specialist, is accused of having explosives and intimidating a justice system participant.

Since his arrest eight days ago, Sonne's friends and family have rallied around him.

One friend, Mark Allingham, calls it all a huge misunderstanding.

Allingham says Sonne's concerns about safety and security have been misconstrued.

Sonne's wife was also arrested and released on bail over the weekend.
