The GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon will take place Sunday and it could have a big impact on city drivers.

The marathon will see about 10,000 runners take the streets and will result in several major road closures.

Here is a list of the areas affected:

- Queen's Park Circle and University Avenue will be closed from Bloor Street to Queen's Quay from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

- Yonge Street will be closed from Finch Avenue to Bloor Street from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- Bayview Avenue will be closed between Pottery Road and Rosedale Valley Road between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

- Lane restrictions will take place between Yonge Street in the east, Spadina Avenue in the west, Davenport Road in the south and Chaplin Crescent in the north from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- Intermittent lane closures will occur along Queen's Quay from York Street to Bathurst Street. Partial closures of Lake Shore Boulevard from Bathurst Street to Windermere Avenue are also planned.

- Several ramps off the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
